What Does a Heat Protectant Actually Do?

More product doesn’t equal more protection. Most people only need 2–4 sprays for fine hair, 4–6 sprays for medium hair, and slightly more for thick hair.

This is even more important. Extensions don’t receive natural oils from your scalp, so once they’re damaged, they can’t repair themselves.
Always apply heat protectant through your mids and ends before using any hot tool. Your extensions- and your investment- will last much longer.
